Mission:

 

The Objects and Purposes of this club shall be:

 

A)  To encourage and promote the breeding of pure-bred German Shorthaired Pointers and to do all possible to bring their natural qualities to perfection

 

B)  To urge member and breeders to accept the standards of the breeds approved by the AKC and GSP Club of America, Inc., as the only standard of excellence by which GSP shall be judged

 

C) To do all in its power to protect and advance the interest of the breed by encouraging sportmanlike competition at dog shows,

field trials, and obedience trials

 

D)  To conduct sanctioned and licensed specialty shows, field trials, and

obedience trials according the rules set up the GSP Club of America, Inc. and the AKC
